Ceremonies
At Nottoway Resort, you have multiple stunning options for your wedding ceremony, each offering its own unique charm. First, you can exchange vows on our front lawn with the historic Mansion providing a majestic backdrop. Alternatively, consider the romantic setting under our centuries-old oaks on the rotunda side, which offers an equally enchanting atmosphere. For those who prefer an indoor setting, the breathtaking White Ballroom or the elegant Grand Pavilion are both excellent choices. Moreover, we are conveniently located just 10 minutes away from St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, which accommodates up to 900 guests, making it perfect for larger ceremonies.
Social Hour
Following your ceremony, take advantage of the Social Hour to allow your guests to enjoy a taste of Southern elegance. During this time, while your wedding party is captured in beautiful photographs, your guests can indulge in a selection of champagne and hors d’oeuvres. They will be able to experience the grandeur of the Mansion’s White Ballroom, Gentlemen’s Study, and the second-level Rotunda porches. This prelude to the reception provides a perfect opportunity for guests to mingle and appreciate the elegance of your chosen venue.
Receptions
When it comes time to celebrate your new life together, Nottoway Resort offers several grand reception venues. Choose from the majestic Randolph’s Ballroom, the dramatic Grand Pavilion, the lavish Cypress Ballroom, or the historic White Ballroom. Each venue provides its own unique ambiance, ensuring that your reception will be both memorable and spectacular. Our dedicated team is committed to handling every detail with care, ensuring exceptional cuisine from our talented chefs and impeccable service from our experienced staff. Consequently, your celebration will be truly unforgettable.
Celebration Extras
To further enhance your wedding experience, consider adding some spectacular extras. For instance, you can thrill your guests with a dazzling display of fireworks. Additionally, embrace a rich New Orleans tradition by incorporating a “Second Line” parade. In this festive procession, the bride and groom, adorned with decorative umbrellas, lead their guests to lively music, symbolizing the joyous beginning of their new life together.
